Cancer the Crab is the sign of motherhood. Since its ruling planet is the moon, it affects the �tides� of women. ^_~ The metal of Cancer is The Moon Princess� Senshi color, Pure Silver. The stone of Cancer is the pearl. If you will remember in the beginning of the Stars series, Michiru, the Princess of Neptune compared the moon to a pearl. Cancer�s element is water simply because the Moon controls the tides.

Cancers have extreme emotions, in a short amount of time. Mainly the emotions would be happiness and fear. Since these emotions change often, friends, and even the Cancerian themselves would find it confusing. Cancerians also have an incredible sympathy for others. They are usually good listeners to other people�s problems. We find this often in the Moon Princess; she has even said, �I can�t ignore and injured person.� This may also explain why she wins every Senshi�s heart.

A friendship with a Cancerian will usually last a lifetime. Well, we know that The Moon Princess� friendships are much closer because they intrust their lives with each other, but still, without, you can tell the friendship is very strong. Cancerians tend to be motivated to be married, much stronger than any other sign. How many times have seen Usagi daydream a wedding with her darling Mamoru? It has also been said that the Cancer is a hopeless romantic. Usually falling in love with their heart on their sleeve. They usually cling to their love also.
